Let C be the mirror image of the parabola x 2 + 2 x y + y 2 + 2 x − 2 y + 3 = 0 x^2+2xy+y^2+2x-2y+3 = 0 with respect to the line x − y = 4 x-y = 4 . If A and B are the point of intersection of C with the line y = − 5 y = -5 , then calculate the distance AB.


The answer is 2.828.
