2 5 × [ 1200 400 ] \Rightarrow \dfrac{2}{5}×[1200-400]

2 5 × 800 \Rightarrow \dfrac{2}{5}×800

320 \Rightarrow \boxed{320}

Took me a few minutes to realize that the quotation marks meant something...
