On how many different ways you can "write" the word "SODLAG" starting with the red letter S and moving afterwards on to the neighboring letter.

Details and assumptions:

A "Neighboring letter" is either down, up, right, left, up-left, up-right, down-left or down-right from the temporary letter. For example, if we start with S and word "SO" is required, there are 8 ways to "write" it.

There are no ways to jump from D to L, so 0 solutions.

Nice problem. Got it from 2nd try. First I thought, maybe You meant "SODALG", because if solution is 0, then the problem is easy, only if one is careful whilst solving it.

Anyhow, I am glad that I managed to inspire someone :)
