Kinetic Energy Formula

Level pending
  • Kinetic energy is the type of energy in motion. It is also known as motion energy.
  • What is the formula for solving for Kinetic Energy? (Hint: mass is the amount of space an object takes up, and velocity is the speed and direction of an object.)
  • Note: KE = Kinetic Energy, the 1/2 means half of the mass, M = Mass, and V = Velocity.
KE = 1/2 x V x M² KE = 1/2 x V² x M² There's no formula for calculating kinetic energy, dummyhead KE = 1/2 x M + V² KE = 1/2 x M x V² KE = 1/2 x M² + V KE = 1/2 x M = V KE = 1/2 x V x M
