A Knight, A Knave, And A Jester Walk Into A Castle

Logic Level 1

There are three friends. One of them is Knight (who always tells the truth), one is Knave (who always lies), and one is a Jester (who sometimes tells the truth and sometimes lies).

One day, everyone was asked "are you a Knight?" Exactly two of them replied "Yes," and the other said "No."

Did the Jester tell the truth or did he lie?

Both the Knight and Knave will say "Yes", since the Knight always tells the truth and the Knave always lies.

This means that the Jester said "No". That is true!

A knight will always tell the truth, so when asked if he's a knight, he'll say "Yes". The knave will always say "Yes" too, since he always lies. The jester can either say the truth or lie, and since both the knight and knave say "Yes", the jester will answer "No", which is the truth.
