Knowing Charge Flows through solving the equation :)

Level 1

An electric oven has been switched on for 3 hours. Calculate the quantity of electric charges passing trough the circuit in this time if the current is 0.7 A.

You can solve this question by using Q = It

Electric current is defined as RATE OF CHARGES FLOWS

7560 2.1 840 126

This is just a case of putting the numbers into the Q = I t Q=It equation

We are told I = 0.7 A I = 0.7A

and t = 3 h o u r s t = 3 hours but t has to be in seconds for this equations so: t = 3 × 60 × 60 = 10 , 800 s e c o n d s t = 3 \times 60 \times 60 = 10,800 seconds

Once that has been worked out just substitute t and I into the equation to get

Q = 10 , 800 × 0.7 = 7560 Q = 10,800 \times 0.7 = \boxed{7560}

ya . that's right. :) I'm sorry that this question is just substitute the numbers into the formula .... If u like to do some other physic's question u can go to my page . Thanks ^^

0.7 x 3 x 60 x 60
