When the object is placed in front of a plane mirror it forms laterally inverted image due to reflection. The letters like A , H , I , M , O , T , U , V , W , X , Y \color{#20A900}A,H,I,M,O,T,U,V,W,X,Y are symmetrical so there is no laterally inverted image for these 11 alphabets \color{#D61F06}\text{11 alphabets} .

The reason behind these letters not appearing to be laterally inverted is because of their s y m m e t r y symmetry .

Maybe you should clarify "capital letters" or "capital alphabets".

The letter u is typically written with a vertical line at the right hand side. Even as a capital. See https://www.teachhandwriting.co.uk/capital-letters-beginners.html
