jack do work 8 hours in a day for five days so in three weeks their will be 15 days .multiply 8 with 15 and the answer cames 120........

jack goes only 5 days a week to work , and he works 8 hours each day ........... so in 1 week he works for 5 8=40 hours .....in case of 3 hours he works 40 3=120
