For a century year to be a leap year,it has to be divisible by 400.

leap years occur every 4 years, not 400, also 100 is divisible by 4 so all century years are leap years.

The question was about why a century year has to be divisible with 400 not about why if the century years which are leap years not all century years are leap years.

What I wanted to say is that in order for you to arrive at the conclusion that not all the century years are leap years you use the statement that all century years which are leap years are divisible by 400 but if this isn't justified or proved by showing the reasons for why it is true it is correct to avoid such conclusions.

What you made there is a statement. However for what you wrote to be indeed a proof that such a statement is correct you need explain why it is as you say and , providing that your reasoning is correct the formulated statement will be given the necessary and sufficient reasons fro why it is correct so can you explain why it is correct anyway ?
