Greg and Maurice are walking along the Times Square, but their walks are slightly disarrayed. Greg takes only 5 steps for every 7 steps taken by Maurice. But if we measure their stride, then Greg's 3 steps are equal to Maurice's 4 steps.

Maurice measures 10 steps and starts behind Greg. If Greg and Maurice can talk only while they are separated by less than or equal to a step of Maurice, for exactly how many steps of Maurice will they be able to talk?

The answer is 42.

Every step Greg makes, he travels 4/3 of the distance Maurice makes in a step. But since Greg takes 5 steps in the time Maurice takes 7, Maurice gets 1/3 step closer every time time take 5 and 6 steps. 2 steps are 6 * 1/3, so they can talk only 6*7=42 steps.
