Let a=1st term and b=2nd term. And let a+b=x.

We know that, a^3+b^3 = (a+b)(a^2 - ab + b^2). Calculating, we get a^3+b^3=10 and ab= -3.

a^2 + b^2 = (a+b)^2 - 2ab = x^2 + 6

Substituting in the above equation, we get

10= x * (x^2 +6 +3) => x^3 + 9x = 10.

Solving, we get x=1. So a+b=1
