The expression can be expanded into: 5 * 5 * 2 * 9 = 9 * 5 * 2 * 5 = 45 * 10 = 450

18/2 = 9 | (25+25 = 50) -> (50) x 9 = 450

well you can use a calculator but if not then try taking an easier path . we can simply know that 25 2=50 ....(a) then 25 20=500......(b) subtract (a) from (b) you get 25*18=450.
