Pages read in 6 days= 6 × 15 = 90 6×15=90

Fraction of book read in 6 days= 1 − 3 8 = 5 8 1-\dfrac{3}{8}=\dfrac{5}{8}

Number of pages= 90 5 8 = 144 \dfrac{90}{\frac{5}{8}}=\boxed{144}
