Condition for Sudoku :

  • No two same letters can be in a vertical row, horizontal row and in the square itself.

Now, A \color{#D61F06}A cannot be in the place of question mark as it is already placed in that horizontal row. D \color{#20A900}D also cannot be in the place of question mark as it is already placed in that vertical row. C \color{#624F41}C also cannot be placed in place of question mark because it is already placed in the same square. So, the only possible letter to be placed in the question mark is B B .

In that square there is already a C

All lines are the same so you have no proof that there are four 2x2 squares

It cannot be A A because it's in the same row. It cannot be D D because it's in the same column. It cannot be C C because it's in the same 2x2. So as long as the Sudoku is solvable the answer is B \boxed{B}

It is easy to fill in the rest to see the Sudoku is solvable.

A cannot be there because in the same column, there is already an A Same goes for D C cannot be there too as in that square there is already a C the only option is B because nowhere in that column, row or square did the letter B appear. *Hope this helped! *

B D

It can't be A because there is A on the same row, it can't be D because there is D on the same column and it can't be C because there is a C in the same square. So it's B because it is isn't in the same square, row or column.

You made a typo mistake
