Liars 2

Logic Level 2

You are walking down a road in a strange country. Everyone there either always tells the truth or always lies. It is impossible to tell which is which. You reach a crossroad and do not know the way. You see a townsperson standing there. You have only one question to find which way to go. Is it possible to find out? Note: There are two paths that you can follow.

" Which road would you tell me to go onto if I asked you which road is correct? " A truth-teller would tell you the truth about what they would have told you, which is correct. A liar, on the other hand, would tell you the incorrect road if you asked "Which road?", but then they would have to lie about which road they would have said. In this case, they would tell you the correct road.
