Subtract 3:20 from 5:30 to get 2:10. Now let's convert everything into seconds. 2:10 has 130 seconds in it, and an hour has 3600 seconds. 3600 ÷ 130 is about 27.6... but it is the number of finished tootsie centers, so the answer is 27.
