Consider a cylinder of radius R = 0.05 m R = 0.05m , length l = 0.1 m l=0.1m rotating at ω = 10 r a d s − 1 \omega = 10 rad s^{-1} about its symmetry axis. What is the maximum value of Ω \Omega before one end of the cylinder lifts off the ground? Take g = 10 m s − 2 g=10ms^{-2} .


The answer is 40.
