Ω Lightning and Thunder Ω

Lightning and thunder are produced simultaneously. The thunder is heard a few seconds after the lightning is seen. This is because:

Speed of sound is equal to the speed of light. Speed of light is greater than the speed of sound. None of these. Speed of sound is greater than the speed of light.

The speed of light is measured in vacuum is 3x10^8 m/s while the speed of sound 344 m/s and this speed is relative to its transmission medium. the speed of light is equal to all observers regardless the speed of observer and the speed of source emitting light. this implies the light looks so faster better than sound no matter the position of the observers at the different places _
