One hour equals 30 degrees, since 360: 12 = 30 degrees. The large (minute) hand turns clockwise from 10:10 am to 11:07 am, so altogether it makes 11 hours and 2 minutes. 11 x 30 = 330 degrees
We need to add 2 minutes to 330 degrees. We need to change minutes into degrees. It follows that 30: 5= 6, so one minute equals 6 degrees, therefore 2 minutes equals 12 degrees. 330 degrees + 12 degrees = 342 degrees
