limitation geometry

Probability Level pending

Assume you are in a limited geometric system (a limited geometric system has only n points, each plane has exactly 3 points, no more, and each line has exactly 2 points, no more) with n points. The number of points (n) is the number of points so that there is an equal number of lines parallel to each of the planes as there are planes. Solve for n. Hint: n does not have to be a whole number, submit four digits after the decimal if you get one.

The answer is 2.5318.
