x y 3 x + 5 y 15 = 15 ; ( x + 5 ) ( y 3 ) = 15 xy-3x+5y-15=-15;(x+5)(y-3)=-15 , so ( x + 5 , y 3 ) = ( 15 , 1 ) , ( 5 , 3 ) , ( 3 , 5 ) , ( 1 , 15 ) , ( 1 , 15 ) , ( 3 , 5 ) , ( 5 , 3 ) , ( 15 , 1 ) (x+5,y-3)=(15,-1),(5,-3),(3,-5),(1,-15),(-1,15),(-3,5),(-5,3),(-15,1) , hence there are 8 solutions.
