3 ( 2 x 1 ) + 25 100 x = 97 6 x 3 + x 4 = 97 25 x 4 = 100 25 x = 400 x = 16 3(2x - 1) + \dfrac{25}{100}x = 97\\ 6x - 3 + \dfrac{x}{4} = 97\\ \dfrac{25x}{4} = 100\\ 25x = 400\\ x = \color{#69047E}{\boxed{16}}

Please check....400/25=16 and not 8.

3 ( 2 x 1 ) + x 4 = 97 3(2x-1)+\frac{x}{4}=97 since 25 % = 1 4 25\%=\frac{1}{4}

6 x 3 + x 4 = 97 6x-3+\frac{x}{4}=97

24 x 4 3 + x 4 = 97 \frac{24x}{4}-3+\frac{x}{4}=97

24 x + x 4 = 97 + 3 \frac{24x+x}{4}=97+3

25 x 4 = 100 \frac{25x}{4}=100

x 4 = 100 25 = 4 \frac{x}{4}=\frac{100}{25}=4

x = 4 4 = 16 x=4*4=\boxed{16}
