$3(2x - 1) + \dfrac{25}{100}x = 97\\ 6x - 3 + \dfrac{x}{4} = 97\\ \dfrac{25x}{4} = 100\\ 25x = 400\\ x = \color{#69047E}{\boxed{16}}$

Please check....400/25=16 and not 8.

$3(2x-1)+\frac{x}{4}=97$ since $25\%=\frac{1}{4}$

$6x-3+\frac{x}{4}=97$

$\frac{24x}{4}-3+\frac{x}{4}=97$

$\frac{24x+x}{4}=97+3$

$\frac{25x}{4}=100$

$\frac{x}{4}=\frac{100}{25}=4$

$x=4*4=\boxed{16}$
