Rewriting the equation, we have

y= -ax/b - c/b

Since the a > 0 and slope (-a/b) is positive, b must be < 0

Therefore ab < 0

in equation ax + by +c

if we put y = 0 it is shown that line intersects on positive axis.

therefore c= -c/a but a is positive and answer shoul be +ve therefore c has to be negative.

now putting x =0 we gety= -c/b and it intersects at negative axis.

but we have c negative so b has to be negative to get last answer as negative.

SO a is positive and b is negative therefore ab<0.
