Two planes leave the airport at the same time. Minutes later,plane A is 33 miles due north of the airport and planes B is 56 miles due east of the airport.How far apart are the two planes?

Since all answers are integers, distances form a pythagorean triple.

33 = 49 -16 = 7^2 - 4^2

Therefore

Distance between planes= 7^2+4^2 = 49+16 = 65
