You can find many references for this @Razing Thunder . However, it would be not possible to fold a normal paper mostly than 7 folds with your hands mostly as its thickness would be very much and folding it might break (yes, break) the paper or it wouldn't fold. You could use some hydraulic press but there would be a limit I guess. Plus, the area of the paper would get too small. Also, you should have mentioned the thickness of your paper, and also the distance to the moon.
