Can 3,4,8 and 6,8,16 ever be the sides of two similar triangles (in Euclidean geometry)?

This was a trick question. 3 + 4 = 7 < 8 3+4=7<8 and 6 + 8 = 14 < 16 6+8=14<16 , so those sides can never be sides of a triangle according to the triangle inequality.

Ha I fell for it! Funny problem. Just goes to show, no matter how certain one is, one should meditate one's reasoning.
