After some time neighbour shopkeeper realised that the Rs. 1000 Note was fake and X shopkeeper had to give 1000 rupees back to Y. Now can you tell what is the exact loss of shopkeeper? Item cost Rs. 200 + 800 rupees = 1000 rupees. Lady gets 800 rupees cash and 200 rupees item for free. So 1000 rupees is exact loss of Shopkeeper.
