Magic circuit

A 1 ohm resistance is connected to a battery of V V volts (where V V is an unknown voltage). Parallel to this, a 2 ohm is connected, parallel to this a 3ohm is connected. Like this, an infinite number of resistors are connected in parallel. What will be current drawn from circuit?

2V / 7 7V very small (approximately equal to zero) Very High

effective resistance: 1 R \frac{1}{R} = 1 1 \frac{1}{1} + 1 2 \frac{1}{2} + 1 3 \frac{1}{3} + .....etc upto infinity . This series is diverging . So R=0 . So circuit acts as a short circuit .This results in high current.
