A 4 by 4 magic square is a square of numbers in which the sum of the numbers in each row, in each column and in each diagonal is always the same. Ramya wants to fill a magic square using the numbers 1 to 16 once each. She has filled some of the boxes as in the diagram. Which number must she put in the green box?

Each row/column total = 1 + 2 + 3 + . . . + 15 + 16 4 \frac{1+2+3+...+15+16}{4} =34

The possible solutions are:

Venkat bro, u never mentioned a flipping of a coin to choose between 9 9 and 13 13 as the final answer.

Option given to select one or more. By observation the green square must be odd number from 9 to 16. So, gave options to select odd number.
