Magnetism Exercise (part 2)

A blue circle has a resitance of λ = 1 \lambda=1 per unit length. x 2 + y 2 = 1 \textcolor{#3D99F6}{x^{2}+y^{2}=1} .
If the magnetic field due to small segment ( A C ) (AC) is B 1 \vec{B_1} and due to large segment ( 2 π A C ) (2π-AC) is B 2 \vec{B_2}
Type your answer as B 1 + B 2 = ? \vec{B_1}+\vec{B_2}=?

Details and Assumptions
1) Neglect the magnetic field through black wire.
2) The black wire has 0 0 resistance and the battery ( V = 1 ) (V=1) has internal resistance r i n t e r n a l = 1 r_{internal}=1 .
3) Consider everything in S.I units.
4) Everything is in x y xy plane.

The problem is original.

1 solution

for the 2 arcs, current is inversely proportional to arc length, but field contribution is directly proportional to current * arc length. their field contributions are equal but they cancel out. answer is zero.
