Tris has two options- To jump or not.
Being a divergent she can survive if she jumps from a height of 10m. The height can be lesser but if it is higher she will die.Being at a certain height she has to decide if she could jump or not into the cylindrical tank provided that she is allowed to do some calculations.The ratio between the curved surface area and the total surface area of the cylinder is 1:2 and the total surface area of the cylinder as 616cm^2.
