The man has hiccups; the bartender tries to scare them away by pointing a gun at him. Sudden shock or change of stimuli in the body is believed to stop hiccups. Do not try this at home as a Colombian man accidentally shot his nephew trying to cure his hiccups by pointing a gun at him, but ending up unintentionally shooting him. Eh, you're smart, you won't do such a foolish thing. :D
