A man is in a well that is 50m deep. He tries to get out of the well and in doing so he takes a jump of 5m each time but falls back 4m due to steep slope. When he jumps to 5m , he falls down to 1m. Then from 1m he jumps to 6m but falls back to 2m. In how many jumps , will he get out of the well ?

For the sake of argument, let's say the man jumps up 1 meter each time. Then it would be 5 0 jumps, right? WRONG . At the 44 meter mark, he will jump up 5m, and fall down 4m. At the 45 meter mark, he will jump up 5m, and not fall down. He would make it out. So 45 jumps + the 1 final one gives us 4 6
