we know that,

speed=distance/time

or, distance=speed x time

                  =18 x (140/60)                              [60 minutes =1 hour]

                   =18 x 7/3=42 kph

. It should be distance/time instead of distance\time.

s p e e d = d i s t a n c e t i m e 18 = d 2 1 3 speed = \frac{distance}{time} \implies 18= \frac{d}{2 \frac {1}{3}} because 2 2 hrs 20 20 mins= 2 1 3 2 \frac{1}{3} of an hour.

d = 42 d = 42 km.
