Mario had to save the Princess

Logic Level 2

Mario in his final quest of saving princess finally came across two doors, labeled A and B . The instruction says that one door consists princess while other contains the fierce dragon. So Mario now had to choose the right gate to save the princess.

Later he notices some board on the door.

Door A says - Dragon is inside!

While Door B says - One of the board is true

Now select the correct option regarding the safety of the doors.

Door A is completely safe Probability is EXACTLY equal Door B have more chances of being safe Door B is completely safe Door A have more chances of being safe

For instance, let's consider that Door B's statement (i.e. One of the board is true ) is true. This ultimately means that Door A's statement is false and hence Dragon is NOT inside . Thus, in this case, Door A will be safe.

Now as per the second case, let Door B's statement (i.e. One of the board is true ) is false. This ultimately means that Door A's statement too is false (since if this statement got true then Door B's statement will also get true; which is contradictory). Hence in this case also Dragon is NOT inside .

So the right answer is the princess is behind Door A .

@Saharsh Anand pls check your analysis in your first paragraph. I think you actually mean to say that door A would be safe, not door B. If the dragon is NOT behind door A, then wouldn't door A be safe?

How can this be true. For instance, lets take a situation in which two doors are in front of you, one with the princess and one with the dragon. Both doors are not labbeled. So in this scenario each door has a 50% chance of getting to the princess. Let's say I would take a pen an paper and would now make my own two little boards, one of which says 'One of the board is true' and one says 'Dragon is NOT inside' and i would randomly hang these boards on the doors. That couldn't make one door safer than the other could it?
