Mario's Plumbing Problem
Mario has been called by Princess Peach to fix her bathtub and her three golden sinks, they are overflowing rapidly, so rapidly that Mario and Luigi have to swim through Peach's castle to get to them. Peach has to pay them 100 coins every hour, which Mario and Luigi split for each other(50 coins for Mario, and 50 coins for Luigi) . They worked for four and a half hours. However, after their work was finished, Luigi was ambushed by Bowser, and Luigi lost 35 coins. Things were not any better for Mario, he dropped 30 coins, AND he got pick-pocketed by a Koopa, and lost two more coins. But, then good things came. A bank error was made in Mario and Luigi's favor of 56 coins which they agreed to split. Then, they were beat up by Wario and Waluigi and both lost 20 coins. Then Peach got ANOTHER leak and Mario and Luigi worked for another hour.
What was the Super Mario Bros. coin average? (Round to the nearest hundredths.)

The Solution is very simple: add all the numbers and then divide by the number of numbers: 450-35-30-2+56-40(both Mario and Luigi lost 20 coins)+100=499. Divide that by 6(the number of numbers) 499/6=83.16 See? Really simple!
