Case 1 : Bob is married

  • Adam is married who is looking at Bob who is also married.

  • Bob who is married is looking at Cedric who is unmarried. \text{Bob who is married is looking at Cedric who is unmarried.}

Case 2 : Bob is unmarried

  • Adam who is married who is looking at bob who is unmarried. \text{Adam who is married who is looking at bob who is unmarried.}

So in any case a married person is looking at an unmarried person.

Adam is married and he is looking at Bob, it is not told whether Bob is married or not. However, if Bob was married, he would be looking at Cedric, who is said to not be married. Equally if Bob is not married Adam, who is married, is looking at him, who is not married. Therefore in this scenario there is always a married person looking at an unmarried person.
