Ben and Sam wanted to watch a Swansea City match. While they are on their way to the ticket booth, they came across a stall. In the stall there are 3 envelopes on the table, each with a label. The labels are: "2 Swansea City match tickets", "2 pieces of blank paper" and "A Swansea City match ticket, A piece of blank paper". The stall owner told them that none of the labels are correct and they can only take one paper/ticket out of one of the envelopes, then decide which envelope to take. Which envelope should they take a paper/ticket out, so they get 2 Swansea City match tickets?

If all the labels are incorrect the tickets are either in the envelope labeled as "blank papers" or labeled as "both". Again, all labels are incorrect, so the "both" envelope contains only one type. If you got a ticket from that envelope then it's certain that other one is in that envelope too, and if you got blank papers then the tickets are in the envelope labeled as blank papers (they obviously can't be in the "tickets" envelope). So checking only that envelope will certainly determine where the tickets are!
