Julie has 21 apples and 35 oranges. She is making 7 gifts baskets, each having the same number of each type of fruit. If she uses all the fruit to make the 7 baskets, how many pieces of fruit are used to make three of the baskets?

Since both 21 and 35 are divisible by 7,we can add(21+35=56)and divide(56/7=8).Lastly,the question asks for the value of 3 baskets,so we multiply by 3(8 x 3=24).The answer is 24 pieces of fruit.This question is too easy.
