Use the identity ((1 + sinx - cosx)/ (1 + sinx + cosx))^2 = (1 -cosx)/(1 +cosx) repeatedly.

I think the radical can also be expressed in much simpler form as, sqrt(sqrt(2))/sqrt(1+sqrt(3)), which also fits the form, where several terms become zero, and the final answer is 8.
