The order of operations is:

  • 1)Exponents( or indices if you prefer) and roots

  • 2)Multiplication and division

  • 3)Addition and subtraction

AND EVERYTHING IS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT

So, 1×7=7 and 1+1+1+1+1=5 and 5+7=12

1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5 ; 1 × 7 = 7 ; 5 + 7 = 12 1+1+1+1+1=5;1\times7=7;5+7=12

Please use ";" instead of "," next time.
