There is a trick because when you multiply by 10 (or its multiples) you are simply multiplying by 1 times 10 and multiplying by 1 does not make a difference. So if you have 2 0 ∗ 3 8 you multiply 38 by the 2 in 20 and add a 0 at the back. 2 ∗ 3 8 = 7 6 and you add a 0 and get 7 6 0 .
