Matheletics Olympiad.

In an athletic meet, $m$ medals were awarded during $n$ days. On the first day, one medal and a seventh of the remaining were awarded. On the second day, $2$ medals and a seventh of the remaining were awarded and so on and on the $n^{th}$ day the remaining $n$ medal were awarded. Find the sum of number of days the competition ran and number of medals awarded.
