Everyone shall make a sonnet
With eight syllables every line.
The rhyme scheme shall be so perfect
In satisfying what we define.
The sonnets shall have three stanzas
Each of them have lines until four.
Extra two lines the sonnet has
With a rhyming scheme just in store.
Seven different rhymes have they.
Distinct rhymes per stanza counts two.
Twice each rhyme shall be used, let’s say.
The order of rhymes shall count, too.
At this point, I’ll ask you so fair,
How many rhyming schemes are there?
Challenge: Post the solution in the form of a sonnet that satisfies the condition of the poem. Big round of applause goes to the first one who does it.
This was inspired by David Vreken’s sonnet.
