First find the mean of each set. 2+4+8+2=16 16 /4=4 8+17+2+3+5+6+7+8=56 56/8=7 4+3+5=12 12/3=4.
The formula for harmonic mean is n(amount of numbers)/(1/x+1/y+1/z....) so for this it is 3/(1/4+1/7+1/4) which is 4.66666666...... which rounds to 4.67
