Surface area of sphere is 4 π r 2 . 4πr^2.

Since 4 4 and π π are constants, we will take the limit of errors for radius only.

Using formula of powers for finding errors we get ( 0.6 ) × 2 = 1.2 % (0.6)\times2=1.2\% .
