Median of 9 Values

The median is the "middle" value when the values are arranged in order. Arranging the values in order, we get: $4$ , $7$ , $8$ , $16$ , $19$ , $23$ , $26$ , $32$ and $45$ . Since there are $9$ values, the $5^{th}$ value in the arranged sequence is the median. Thus $19$ is the median of the given $9$ values.

Note: The mean of these 9 values is 20.
