Let in the three sheres by second person is x, x, and x+1. Total = 3x+1, which is 2 3 \frac{2}{3} of the total mangoes. Let the total mangoes is y.
2 3 y = 3 x + 1 \frac{2}{3}y = 3x+1
y = 9 x + 3 2 y = \frac{9x+3}{2}
Asumming the total is the minimum number of mangoes, then x=1.
y = 9 ( 1 ) + 3 2 = 6 y = \frac{9(1)+3}{2} = \boxed{6}
