let x =quantity of milk let y= quantity of water let Z=additional quantity of water total volume= 120 liters ratio of milk to water= 2:1 Therefore x=2y solution : x+y =120 liters 2y+y=120 liters y=40 liters x=80 liters new ratio 2: 1 80/(40+z)=1/2 z=120liters
