We will get the value of 'y' but question is asking for the value of 'Y' so how will we find that?
Log in to reply
he he he!but i think capital Y and small y doesn't matter here.
but it is a matter of thinking,how will we find Y by calculating y's...........:D
Please change the 'Y' to 'y'
Algebra is case sensitive.
Thank you.
x + y = 9
so 9 - y = x
or 9 - x = y
9 - 3(x) = y= 6
x + y = 9 and x = 3
3 + y = 9 | - 3
y = 6
If x + y = 9 x = 3 that means 9 - x(3) = y(6)
Subctitute x = 3 to obtain y = 6 .
